Dear letter: The Visiting Nurses Association once had a thrift store called VNA Thriftique. They have a location at 1074 Route 28 in South Yarmouth. We used to be volunteers there and hope to continue to be volunteers. This Thriftique provides an important resale service for the community and is also an important fundraising activity for VNA. We also have donated items. We have tried to call but no information is available. Would you like to know if you can provide or find any information? thank you very much.

Dear CL, we talked with Stephanie, Thriftique’s new store manager. She said the store is currently closed due to staff shortages and the need for maintenance. The staff is working hard to reopen in November. You should call back at that time: 508-398-2759.

Dear letter: Due to severe hip problem, I am a senior and need a stationary bicycle. If anyone has someone who is no longer using it and is willing to surrender, please call 508-360-3222.

Dear SK: We hope you can receive some calls. good luck!

Dear letter: I want to know the specific location where the puppies were rescued from the southern hurricane. I heard that they are "here", but there are only bulldogs, chihuahuas and cats in the shelter. I want to adopt a small one, 15 pounds. /-, over 2 years old as soon as possible. I just lost mine recently, and I am very depressed without my walking partner! Can you point me specifically to a group I can contact, from which I can get results? Also, if your readers can help me, I would be very grateful. You can contact me at 508-680-6192. Thank you.

Dear JT: We talked to a local dog rescue expert. This is her suggestion: "I will tell them to go to one of the shelters: Boston Animal Rescue Union (3981 Main St.) in Brewster, MSPCA Centerville Shelter (1577 Falmouth Road), or Friends of Falmouth Dog (150 Blacksmith Shop Road). Massachusetts has quarantine requirements, but the shelter can arrange for dogs to be quarantined." Hope this helps.

Dear letter: If anyone wants the "123 Success" brochure, I will provide the "Weight Watcher Point Book" and other weight watcher information. Carol is at 540-256-7931 (please leave a voice mail). Thank you.

Dear CB: A few weeks ago, a reader was looking for a "point book" for weight watchers. We hope she sees your letter. Thank you for your letter.
